June 25, 2011 – White Sox defeat Nationals 3-0

My wife and I took our son Owen to a White Sox game on this date in 2011. I got a hotel out by O’Hare through Priceline. It was like a four star hotel I got a room for like $60 plus parking. We took the train from there to Millenium Park and checked that out first. Then we headed to the White Sox game. They played the Nationals in an interleague game. The White Sox two-hit the Nats in a 3-0 shutout. John Danks started the game but only got five outs before leaving with an injury. Jake Peavy did the bulk of the pitching after that in relief, throwing four and one-third shutout innings and striking out seven while walking none. Brent Morel and Alex Rios each had three hits for the White Sox. Overall it was a really fun trip.
